Weekend Vibes

Rainy Sundays in London are almost magical, especially when the clocks turn back. Every fall when daylight savings comes around I'm torn between my love for an extra hour of sleep and my hate of getting off work in the dark for the next three months. Anyone with me?

Today I'm spending the day picking up the last few things for my trip to NYC and making a homemade pumpkin pie to leave with Blake. Rough life, I know. I'm also extremely excited to be launching Root & Roam with all of you! You can read about my vision behind the blog here but it's also a way to document this unique season of adventure and growth I've found myself in. Please take your time exploring the site and check back later this week for more content.

Here's a list of goodness I found around the web this week. If you have any to add share it in the comment section below.

We made this roasted cauliflower soup last night and its thick creamy goodness reminded me why I love soup season so much.
Sharing this because everyone should know about Green Kitchen Stories and make their apple cinnamon cake.
Since I own all three of her cookbooks if Gwen stands by these foods then I do too.
Heading to NYC on Wednesday and hoping to pick up these Everlane boots while there.
Celebrating Blake's birthday in Edinburgh this year and a favorite photographer's  insta has me getting excited.
The Best Of travel guide for 2017 is out. Ready, set, go.
Interested in writing for Root & Roam? I'd love to hear from you!
And who's ready to stop hearing about the polls already?

Hope you enjoy browsing through the site today, darling!

XOXO
