Weekend Vibes

Hi hi! Happy Sunday all. This is a pretty accurate picture of my weekend after a couple weekends of travel in a row.  It took a few months but I finally feel like I'm settled into a new routine over here in London and can at last relax into our home here. I wasn't sure if I'd ever get here but after 5+ months later this girl is almost hitting her stride in the big city. That said in one month Blake and I are headed back across the Atlantic to spend a couple weeks with family and friends, which I couldn't be looking forward to more.

Before that I'm trying to soak in all the holiday spirit the UK has to offer and I have a feeling I won't be disappointed. From ice skating at the National Science Museum to seeing Les Miserables live, we have a few items on our to-do list! Any suggestions for must do London holiday activities? Who has the best mulled wine? Where can I karaoke to the Christmas classics? And where's the most magical walk to see some Christmas lights? This newbie wants to know so leave a comment below!

In the meantime, here's my roundup of links from around the web. Enjoy!

A must-read for all those recovering perfectionists out there. And why mistakes are essential to success.

So ready for the holiday season but not ready for the stress that can come with travel. I plan to practice these tips to stay sane, healthy, and intentional.

I've been on a mission to master my pie dough in preparation for Thanksgiving and found that this is just the ticket to sog-free crust. Side note- are we all reading Food52? My hero in cooking basics that elevate every meal's level of sophistication and taste.

Eyeing this gorge jewelry for Christmas presents this year. The minimalist tomboy vibe is right up my alley.

After my stay in New York a few weeks a go, I decided I might pack up my bags an move into the perfect Soho apartment

Finally getting my flat in order and planning to order one of these prints to breath some life into the white washed walls.

Xoxo
